Our holistic approach aims to take children from rescue and survival to empowerment with education, job creation and community development. The heart of charity is compassion and kindness. With our Charity to Enterprise approach we also provide market-driven sustainable solutions that not only provide aid to children and the poor, but also transform lives and communities.
Our philosophy involves partnering with the people of developing nations to provide solutions for their communities, thus giving dignity and satisfaction to all participants.
Compassion For The Poor is a non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible. We rely on the support of individuals and corporations. Our priority is to remain accountable to our donors. We are committed to transparency.

The heart of charity is compassion and kindness and we are encouraged by God to "Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless and to maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed." Compassion for the Poor along with our sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff endeavours to fulfill that commission while effectively changing lives and freeing people from poverty. Poverty is a disease that inflicts the soul and destroys hope. In many cases it is systemic and fostered by hearts without compassion. Together we can rescue lives, restore dignity and empower people with education and financial sustainability to create systemic prosperity.
